Type 304 stainless steel is the most common austenitic grade, containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel for superior resistance to oxidation and corrosion. This square tubing is manufactured to meet ASTM A269 standards and is supplied in an annealed condition. It combines a 73,200 PSI tensile strength with excellent formability and weldability, making it a versatile choice for many applications.
