Type 304 is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, known as "18-8" for its composition of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. This makeup provides exceptional resistance to corrosion from atmospheric and chemical exposures. It is non-magnetic in its annealed condition and offers excellent forming and welding characteristics. As an angle, it provides structural rigidity and is certified under ASTM A276 for bars and shapes.
As a medium-sized profile, this 2" x 3/8" angle is an all-purpose structural component.
