Type 304 is the most versatile austenitic stainless steel, containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel for exceptional resistance to atmospheric and chemical corrosion. This angle is manufactured to meet ASTM A276 standards for bars and shapes. It is non-magnetic in the annealed condition, cannot be hardened by heat treatment, and maintains excellent toughness and ductility.
