Finish Options
This product comes standard with a raw hot rolled mill finish, which may have a scaly, blue-gray surface. This mill scale must be removed before painting or coating. For corrosion protection, A36 angle can be painted, powder-coated, or hot-dip galvanized. Contact our Los Angeles sales team for custom finish inquiries.
How to Measure
An unequal leg angle is measured by its two outside leg dimensions (Leg A and Leg B) and its thickness. Measure the length of each leg from the outer corner to the edge, and then measure the material thickness.
Example: To order this angle, specify "A36 Steel Angle, 5 inch by 3 inch by 5/16 inch thickness".
